Our History

IN THE DOOR is a workforce and economic development organization that utilizes innovation to serve communities nationally.  We were founded in 2015 by way of the employment strategy book GET IN THE DOOR, and have since led workforce and economic development efforts in  68 counties.  In 2017, we were provided a Congressional Award for our community leadership.

Today, we continue to expand and utilize innovation to serve adults, dislocated workers, youth, veterans, and military spouses through our ENPP Navigator program.  Part of our focus is to help people find good jobs so they can provide for their families and live with dignity. We believe that everyone should have access to opportunity, no matter who they are or where they come from and our team is turning this vision into a reality.
